Growing up in Madison, Wisconsin, Tyler was encouraged to pursue his love of music and art which initially manifested itself in piano lessons and Star Wars Fan Art competitions at the local B&N. Although his interests widened as he progressed through school (soccer, karate, horseback riding, 4H Club, anime, etc.) his love of performing ultimately took center stage.

     High School drama productions led to his love of Forensics(not dead bodies), and through voice lessons and the support of his mentors, brother, cat and dogs, parents too, he attended The Boston Conservatory. Tyler received his B.F.A. (Musical Theater performance)in May, 2015 and now lives in New York City with his cat, Sally (whom he adopted while at school in Boston.)
